We created GatePass out of necessity. After years of owning and managing fleets of work vans, we knew there had to be a better way to upfit our assets. We dealt with constant repairs and maintenance causing extended downtime and missed revenue opportunities.
Our core team has experience in all sectors of the fleet management industry — acquisitions, remarketing, operations, and finance — and we realized the upfitting process impacted almost every facet. Having experienced the aches and pains associated with traditional upfitting, we thought: there has to be a better way.
After countless hours spent failing to find what we were looking for, we knew we had to build it ourselves — setting out to create a simple, efficient, and transferrable upfit system that could be installed and removed by anyone, anytime, anywhere.
